This photo was taken at the onset of a 80 km climb that saw us cross over a 4,200 m pass in Western China near the Afghan and Pakistani borders. We will be placing photos like this with short descriptions throughout our Cycling to Stop the Cycle journey from Alaska south.
Lake Karakul surrounded by 7,000 meter peaks. Muztagh Ata (7,546 m), Kongur Tagh (7,649 m) and Kongur Tiube (7,530 m). The reflection of the peaks on the still waters was absolutely gorgeous.
